We can no longer source these switches new. We have very limited stock of used switches. These switches have been pulled from faulty motherboards and have been tested to make sure they are functioning correctly.
PSP's have a small switch inside their drives that tell the PSP a disc is inserted. If this switch gets damaged the PSP will no longer read discs.
A broken UMD switch fault is often mistaken for a faulty laser.
